"If you have read slanderous statements on the internet - This is a reply I wrote to the site directly (which has been removed) the site and ex-client I feel published personal and damaging information, together with unfair comment and remarks about the online service I offer"
I leave you to be judge of that.
I wrote the following in reply:
As I resent the innuendo outlined in the article and the damage it certainly could do to my professional standing and as I have no redress to the comments made, and most importantly as I am on this site/s being accused of 'scamming my client' here are the facts.
Professionally - I am unable to go into any fine details regarding actual session content - but can give you the facts.
1 My fees are very reasonable at no more $35US per session, which are hardly an amount to go out of my way and scam people for. The $35US includes both sessions and the letter. I was paid in total 2 payments of $100US
2. The person did receive a full copy letter after 5 sessions at his request.
3. If I did not, I should have informed the client after such a few sessions and a number of canceleld and missed appointments that I would have to use much of the information from the BIO form,
4. Yes as the sessions had been littered with cancelled and missed appointments and they lacked some continuity. Sessions were from April - June 2009
5. The person has the right to voice an opinion and express dissatifaction, but he has not the right to SLANDER and make misleading comment.
Further my overall understanding is that the client, in all likelihood, attended an endocrinologist with a copy of my letter (which was received). I understand the doctor then agreed not to await an original. Therefore I assume, effectively in the eyes of the client my letter was not required along with payment.
I did request payment and I wrote no more than 2/3 letters the last at the end of July 2009 . I work on the internet to send more is futile.
Finally, the first I knew of this was three months later when scathing and derogatory remarks appeared on the internet.
I provide a legitimate sensitive and genuine service and will continue to do so. I also fully realize that if you choose to work on the internet these things happen from time to time - unfortunately out there are many disillusioned, unhappy and disgruntled people and this is the only form of redress that I have - I am also minded of the trans people who need and require an online service such as this one
